The photo in question (this press has refused to publish it not to give it popularity), has the face of Jabez, with some derogatory words printed on it, alleged to have been uttered by the fine gentleman.

Speaking to this writer before press time this morning, Jabez said those words printed on that picture of his did not and will never come from his mouth.

“I am a perfect gentleman, born and raised by a well-mannered parents with sober home ethics. Anyone who knows me or any of my parents will never associate us with rudeness. The use of abusive language is not in our DNA.” Jabez told this writer.

He further went on to say the evil work must have been done by wicked people, especially bad business people who might not be satisfied with his successes in running one of the most accommodating and satisfying hotels in Bo city.

He said it is no secret that as a result of the professional management services offered by his hotel, it has been playing host to top and distinguished personalities in the country and visitors of Sierra Leone. This, Jabez went on, might have offended failed business operators in that part of the country to go after him by painting him bad in the eyes of his well respected customers doing business with the hotel.

The fine comedian and advertiser concluded saying: “I want the president, cabinet ministers and deputies, MDAs and all Sierra Leoneans and friends of Sierra Leone to know that those were not my words and I hold authorities to high esteem. Only God will judge me and those wicked initiators of such madness. Thank you AYV!!”

Jabez started comedy at St. John Primary School and moved on to St. Edwards Secondary School. He was initially spotted by Nasiru Tejan back then at the SLBS now SLBC as a promising actor. He rose to prominence when few like-minded people like David Vandy, Daniel Moseray and others joined The Bintumani Players and Ambassadors and was named the ‘Wan Pot’.

The drama TV series started in 2002 to ease the stigma of the civil war amongst Sierra Leoneans and it became the most watched drama series back then.

Jabez is now the Chief Executive Officer for JBZ Production and his latest short comedy skit titled: ‘42’ left everyone amazed.
