Whilst personally again congratulating our Flagbearer and Running Mate, I wish to re-echo my recent statements in Kabala, Koidu and in Freetown that, I will respect the decision of the Party and actively support and campaign for the chosen Party Ticket in order to ensure victory for the APC.

In this regard, and further to my previous Team Marah message expressing the same, I am strongly urging and calling upon all of you, my dear friends and supporters, to join me in supporting our Presidential Ticket for victory.

Our great Party has laid a very strong national development foundation under the astute leadership of His Excellency the President, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, Chairman and Leader, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure an enduring legacy.

Our commitment to the Party and its resounding victory in the March 2018 Elections, should be our focus. Further to this press statement, I would in collaboration with the Party Machinery, reach out to all online/offline coordinators, community and university groups, practitioners, youth and women organisations, including the Marah Queens, in all the districts, to consolidate our support to the Party.

The moves by the APC former aspiring flagbearers to concede defeat, respect their party’s decision to select Dr. Samura and Hon. Chericoco to run for the presidency and calling on their respective supporters to support them and win the 2018 elections has widely been described as excellent moves by political analysts across the world. This according to many could be seen as a political transformation in the country’s past ugly after-elections/conventions political landscape.
