In a communication to Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, His Excellency Ambassador Omrie Golley Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea (seen in photo shaking hands in Korea with one of the people involved in the project), from the Minister of Health and Sanitation, the Hon. Dr. A B Fofanah and dated the 12th April 2016, the Minister confirmed that construction of the Medical Facility was nearing completion, and that a shipment of medical supplies and equipment also generously donated by the Korean Foundation was scheduled to arrive in Freetown this week.

 

Inviting the Ambassador to the planned opening ceremony next month, the Minister extolled the Ambassador’s outstanding efforts in bringing this venture to a reality, further indicating that his presence at the planned opening ceremony, together with officials of the Medical Peace Foundation, would underscore and raise the profile of the already excellent bilateral relations between the two countries.
