In 2008, she established the Lady Felicia Foundation and combined both her passion for music and philanthropy to promote her vision through songs and humanitarian work. Her affection for children and their future is what drives her to serve them through her Foundation. Lady Felicia has organized numerous concerts and has raised money to provide education for children back home in Sierra Leone, targeting deplorable children in the outskirts of the country.

She has also contributed immensely towards awareness raising and advocacy initiatives against teenage pregnancy, child marriage and sexual abuse through her Foundation and educative talk show titled: “The Lady Feli Show”.

“Preventing teenage pregnancy is one key factor in making sure that teens have the opportunity to achieve success in school” she stated in a telephone interview with AYV newspaper last evening from her U.S. base, adding; “Go out and help our younger generation, encourage mothers all over Sierra Leone to allow their girls to stay in school. Child marriages lead to poor health and lack of educational opportunities. Let girls be girls. Together we can put an end to child marriage.”

The fine female singer went on to say education is a key factor to reducing and preventing global poverty, adding that it is highly important for every child to be educated and be encouraged to stay in school. 

She said preventing teen pregnancy is one key factor in making sure that teens have the opportunity to achieve success in school.

Established in 2008, Lady Felicia Foundation seeks to improve the conditions of disadvantaged children in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
