The mudslide and flood victims showered praises on the Minister of Lands , for her routine visits to various temporal centers at Regent , Kaningo and other affected zones , and at the same time encouraging volunteers to effectively distribute relief  items to the required survivors, evacuees and affected persons.

She also noted that President Koroma and his Government are always committed to providing proper security for the country’s citizenry, and seized the opportunity to appeal to the victims to remain calm, as the government is in  the process of making robust moves to creating conducive environment for them.

Prior to the devastating and catastrophic flood-flash and mudslide that claimed the lives of hundreds of Sierra Leoneans,  the responsible and benevolent Lands Minister, had been sensitizing community inhabitants as well as demolishing quack houses built in state lands and disaster prone areas, in a bid to save the precious lives of the country’s citizenry.
