Kadija was last in Sierra Leone at age 4, and now she is 19. She remarks that “the people of Sierra Leone are very friendly and welcoming”, adding: “I have heard a lot of good stories about my family, which I like, and mostly when I hear people say I have traits of my great grandmother and namesake-Kadija”.

Kadija Kabba is a journalist working for www.bijlmerenzo.nl in Holland. At the moment in Sierra Leone, she is engaged in the social media component at Culture Radio 104.5 FM on 24 Fort Street, central Freetown.
