The donation brought together members of blind school and representatives from the Lebanese community.

Chairman, Lebanese Community,  Samir Hassenyeh said that they are pleased to capacitate the school, although they are facing trials at the moment, but a responsible community,  they will always reached their corporate social responsibility, by providing for the needy. The chairman promised that his community would always support and boost blind school.

’’ On behalf of the community I present to you these food items to Milton Margai School for the blind’’ Samir stated

Salieu Turay, Head Teacher, Blind School described the Lebanese Community as the father of the blind; he further expressed his gratitude to the community for their restive support towards the school.

He further stated that they are still facing lots of challenges with regards transportation, logistic, and food items, adding that their fence is falling, a situation he described as a big threat for both pupils and teachers.

He lamented that pupils normally were unable to sleep at night, because of the appalling status of the fence.

’’ We are blind but that does not mean we are not meaningful we are calling on the government and the people of Sierra Leone to come to our aid and give us the support that we needed’’ Turay landed.

Zainab Kamara, head girl of the school expressed appreciation to the community for their timely assistance, as she encouraged the Lebanese to continue supporting her school.

’’ On behalf of my fellow pupils I want to thank you and your community for the judicious donation’’
