Luawa Football club have appoints British coach Sebastian Bowles as their new head Coach ahead of the 2023/2024 Sierra Leone premier league season.

Bowles is a UEFA License holder with the Scotish Football Association and will start his new task with the cacao boys from Kailahun.

This deal was confirmed by the CEO of Luawa FC Emmanuel Saffa Abdulia.

Luawa Football club maintained their spot in the Sierra Leone Premier League after winning ten game from 34 matches.

The former Haka under 20 boss has been without a job since his contract as manager for Swedish second division side Ytterhogdals Ik expired in 2022 sees lot of potential in Sierra Leone and hope to acquire achievement with Luawa FC.

While speaking as head coach of Luawa Football club Bowles says he is indeed excited as a winner who wants to win everything that was why he chose Luawa Football club position ahead of other several opportunities, he furthered that it is imperative to start start implementing the winning mentality during the preseason in September and he is looking forward to meeting the staff.

He also noted that as head coach of the first team he will also serve as the technical director of the Luawa Football Academy and looking forward to experiencing the Sierra Leone culture and people, trying his best to bring glory to the fans and Kailahun community, despite hearing lots of good things about Sierra Leonean people and their hospitality he is looking forward to experiencing it all. However Bowles with arrive two weeks before the commencement of the preseason.
