The management of M.V Bai Bureh Ferry, crossing the estuary from Freetown to Targrin in Lungi, has announced a ban on all petty trading onboard the ferry.
Speaking to AYV News, Tickets Sales Supervisor for M.V Bai Burreh, Jenny Bell said the vessel has been park on shores for months now undergoing quality standards maintenance.
She said upon completion, it is now set to ply the waters and provide its customers with quality and satisfactory services.
Ms. Bell said the resumption of the ferry’s services will help to salvage struggles people face in crossing the estuary daily, especially when only ferry plies the route.
