In Manjoro Rtd. Brig. Bio and senior SLPP national officers and other stakeholders attended the 40th day ceremony of the wife of Dr L. H Kallon, former constituency chairman. Rtd. Brig. In Karina, Rtd. Brig. Bio also attended another 40th day ceremony of the late mother of Alusine Funkaba  Fofanah, a senior SLPP stakeholder. Rtd. Brig. Despite Rtd. Brig. At the SLPP office in Karina, the disciplined Rtd. Brig. Bio reiterated his message of non-violence, peace and party unity to party officials and members from Tonkolili, Bombali and Koinadugu.

Rtd. Brig. Bio condemned any form of violence and strongly admonished party members and officials that any of his supporter who embarks on any act of violence will be disowned and the law will take its course. The mood in the party office was like a party united against violence. Other speakers at the event included Dr Prince Harding, Dr Kadie Sesay, Dr. Abass Bundu, Alhaji Kanja Sesay, Alhaji Alpha Kallon, Mrs Fatima Bio and the Chairman SLPP Bombali District. The vote of thanks was moved by Haja Fatu Kanja Sesay.
