I’m in the middle of a whirlwind of emotions, basking in the afterglow of last nights fashionable events, with feelings of excitement and gratitude. The campaign was competitive. My fellow contestants were just amazing in different ways.

I would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who believed in my potential and those who supported me from the start of my campaign. To everyone who sacrificed their thousands of Leones to vote for me, I doff my hat to you all.

THANK YOU to my family for always supporting me on every endeavour that I choose. To The Shukubly and all other housemates and friends. I love you all.

To our fans and supporters, please note that arguing and sending hateful messages on social media to each other defeats the purpose for the Miss Sierra Leone platform. I want to encourage you all to use those energies positively to influence changing behaviours of our youthful population.

I’m excited to begin my duties as Miss Sierra Leone. The bell has rung for mental health platform engagements across the nation.

We have more daunting tasks ahead: I will be representing our beautiful Sierra Leone to the world’s biggest stage; the Miss World beauty pageant in London in December this year. We can become more impactful if we choose to speak with one voice.

God bless us all!
