Sierra Leone has warmly welcomed big entertainers including queen of reggae music, Queen Ifrica and international reggae icon, Sizzla Kalonji, as they arrive in Freetown for the much-anticipated One Nation Reggae Festival that starts tonight at the Bintumani Hotel.
Touching down to an atmosphere filled with pride and excitement, their presence adds a powerful cultural dimension to the festival line up. Fans, industry stakeholders, and supporters of reggae music celebrated their arrival, recognising it as another major milestone in strengthening the cultural bridge between Sierra Leone and the Caribbean.

The artist is set to headline the One Nation Reggae Festival on Friday, 28th November 2025, an event expected to deliver electrifying performances, powerful messages, and a unifying atmosphere. With the festival themed One Nation, One Love, One Vibes; Shared Roots, Shared Rhythm, Sierra Leoneans are gearing up for a night that blends music, culture, and national togetherness. Anticipation continues to rise as preparations intensify and the countdown officially begins.
The One Nation Reggae Festival is an annual platform for unity, creativity, and cultural renaissance between Sierra Leone and the Caribbean. Taking place across multiple locations in the Western Area from 25–30 November 2025, the festival is rooted in the rhythm of reggae, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, and inspired by the spirit of freedom. It celebrates enduring ties formed through history, resilience, and cultural exchange.
National musicians, including members of the Reggae Union and leading dancehall and soca artists, will collaborate and perform alongside international performers such as SizzlaKalonji, Christopher Martin, Queen Ifrica, Jah Thunder, Arqane, and Danny Bless.
The festival is aligned with the Ministry’s Year of Ecotourism Campaign 2025, reinforcing the connection between culture, conservation, and community.
