In a meticulously executed covert operation over the weekend, Sierra Leone Police apprehended Abdul Kamara, the alleged kingpin of one of the city’s largest drug cartels, at Mamba Ridge, Moyiba Community in the east of Freetown.

Kamara, widely known as “Biggie Ten,” was apprehended alongside a substantial cache of Kush and other illicit narcotics.

According to a high-ranking police source, Biggie Ten had long been on their radar, and this operation was the culmination of their patient surveillance. He is currently in police custody at Hastings, awaiting legal proceedings.

Kamara is the proprietor of the notorious Biggie Ten Club & Pool in Moyiba, a notorious hub for the sale of Kush and other dangerous drugs, particularly among the youth.

Inspector General of Police, Fayia Sellu, emphasized the law enforcement’s unwavering commitment to eradicating the scourge of dangerous drugs that plague the nation’s youth, stating, “Whosoever is caught will face the full force of the law.”

The investigation into this case is ongoing.
