Secondary school students have expressed overwhelming excitement and appreciation following the Back-to-School Success Summit organised by Yavanda Business Services (YBS).
Held on September 1, 2026, at Dove’s Nest, Sir Samuel Lewis Road, Aberdeen, the one-day summit, under the theme “Start Strong, Finish Strong,” brought students together for an inspiring and practical learning experience designed to prepare them for the new academic year and their future.
And for many of the students, the summit was more than just another educational programme.

The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, with students describing the experience as inspiring, informative and highly motivating.
Many said they left the programme with a renewed sense of purpose, greater confidence and a clearer understanding of how to approach their studies and future goals.
Several participants were particularly excited about the interactive sessions, team challenges, practical exercises and opportunities to engage directly with young professionals from different fields.
Students also expressed strong interest in having the programme organised again, with many calling for a repeat of the summit so that more young people can benefit from the experience.
The enthusiasm did not end when the programme concluded.
Participants continued to share their appreciation and positive reactions after the event, demonstrating the impact the initiative had on them.
The summit covered key areas including goal setting and purpose, smarter study techniques, confidence and communication, leadership and life skills, AI and digital literacy, and career and future readiness.
Young professionals from diverse backgrounds also contributed to the programme by sharing their experiences, knowledge and practical advice, giving students an opportunity to learn from people already navigating the world of work.
Participants received training materials, refreshments and certificates, while the interactive format helped create an engaging atmosphere throughout the day.
For YBS, the strong response from students reinforces the importance of creating platforms that not only educate young people but also inspire them to believe in themselves, set meaningful goals and take ownership of their future.
With students already asking for another edition, the Back-to-School Success Summit appears to have struck a powerful chord with its young audience, proving that when young people are given the right knowledge, encouragement and platform, they are eager to learn, grow and succeed.
