He further explained that on Wednesday 14th September 2016 at around 6 pm  he received a strange call on his phone informing him that Amidu [accused] has slaughtered   his sister. He said immediately he communicated to family members for them to visit the place of crime.

He pointed out that at their arrival they met one Miss Kadiatu Conteh, who is a neighbor and also an eye witness who explained to them that the accused and the deceased were seating outside having fun. She further explained to them   that Fanta [deceased] was telling the accused that she want to return to Freetown.

After a while, she said both the accused and deceased went inside, since then she didn’t heard anything from them, until at 4pm when the accused father came from the farm and started knocking at the door for Amidu [accused] to let him in, she said Amidu refused to open until the father said’’ if you don’t open this door I will break it’’ and she said Amidu reply to his father ‘’I will kill you like I have killed Fanta’’ she said.  She further said that immediately both her and the accused father ran to the chief and told him that his son has killed his girlfriend, she said the chief called the youth heads and the Sierra Leone police to accompany them at the place of crime.

She said when they arrived they forced their way in and they saw Fanta Mansaray[deceased]  was on the floor without her head and blood all over the  place.

However, Amidu Kamara the accused has been arrested and been detained by the police at mile 91 station and the remains of the deceased has been laid to rest.
