Sierra Leonean President Julius Maada Bio has said access to electricity still remains a challenge in Sierra Leone in terms of reliability and affordability, adding that it will require a more significant commitment than ever before, for the country’s present and future depend on it.

President Bio was speaking at the 2022 Energy Sector Roundtable held at the New Brookfields Hotel in Freetown.
