He informed the jubilating crowds clad in the traditional red color of the APC that he is very confident that on March 7, the people of Sierra Leone will speak through the ballot box and return the APC government and Samura Kamara as president to State House.

He informed his audience that he can recall that when he visited so-called traditional strongholds of the opposition parties around the country, the turn-up of people was far higher than anyone had expected, adding that, all of this has emboldened him to confidently say that “come 7th March, 2018, the people of Sierra Leone shall speak through the ballot box to elect me as the new president of Sierra Leone and the whole world will understand that their choice is based on truth and honesty.”

He went on to state that at no time before now has the APC pulled such a massive crowd in Kenema, adding that the number of people that came out to see him and to declare their support for the APC was overwhelming.

He said: “My opponents are saying they don’t know me. Yes, indeed, they don’t know me because I do not belong to a criminal gang. I am an honest person. Sierra Leoneans have my track record. I have served them in different capacities and I stick by them in all struggles.”
