The Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) has issued a public notice informing that schools countrywide will be reopened today 4th September, 2023.

As per the official announcement made on 1st September, 2023, all heads of schools, district stakeholders and the general public are reminded that the date for the commencement of the 2023/2024 academic year is 4th September, 2023.

This date was established prior to the closure of schools at the end of the last academic year.

Parents, pupils and educators are urged to make necessary preparations for the reopening of schools on the specified date. Ensuring that pupils are ready to attend school promptly and regularly is essential for a successful academic year.
