The five days training programme was spiced with interactive sessions, anchored on leadership in today’s organizations, how to pick the leadership style that best fits diverse situations, issues dealing with ethics and professional standards, conflict management as well as integrity in the work place . Also, the training focused on strategic planning and management, effective time management and management functions, roles, skills and team building for performance.

Crucially too, the programme highlighted issues on International Cooperation dealing with recoveries and forfeitures and prosecutorial evidence in financial crimes to secure convictions.

Speaking to the Deputy Commissioner, he says; “the training has greatly improved my perspective not only in leadership and management, but aspects of Strategic Planning and Management which is timely especially as we engage in the development of a new Strategic Plan for the Commission”.

It is believed that the training in International Cooperation in the recoveries and forfeitures coupled with prosecutorial evidence, though not legal in nature has provided Mr. Davies an insight into the processes involved which will be very helpful towards the review of State Parties on Chapter V of the United Nations Convention  against Corruption (UNCAC).
