Sierra Leone has held a civic ceremony at the police training school in Jui to honour the 6 Police officers who were killed during the August 10th, 2022 violent protests.

The killed officers; Superintendent Osman Fofanah, Sergeant Tommy Munda from Kamakwei Division, Sergeant Desmond Hanciles from the OSD headquarters, Police Constable Abu Bakarr Turay from the North East Region headquarters, Police Constable Charles Smart and Sergeant Major Ibrahim Jalloh were defending the state.
