She made the statement before the House started to debate on the loan agreements tabled past Friday by her, which were differed by the Speaker.

Responding to that, the Speaker of Parliament announced that Sierra Leone will send its delegation to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) that will be held in Kampala, Uganda by next week.

The speaker made an announcement of the country’s suspension during the past sitting after the deputy minister tabled the agreement.

It can be recalled that the announcement of Sierra Leone being suspended from the Commonwealth’s Parliamentary Association (CPA) for failing to pay annual subscription for 2019 was past week done by the Speaker of Parliament, Dr. Abass Bundu.
