His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio has made a partial Cabinet reshuffle, replacing some ministers who served in his first term governance with new people.

A State House press statement released earlier today say former Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education and Chief Innovation Officer for the Directorate of Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh is now Chief Minister replacing Jacob Jusu Saffa.

Former Minister of Mines and Mineral Resources, Timothy Musa Kabba is now Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, replacing Professor Dr. David John Francis.

Mohamed Lamin Tarawally is retained as Attorney General and Justice Minister.

Haja Ramatulaye Wurie is now Minister of Technical and Higher Education, replacing Dr. Alpha T. Wurie and Conrad Sackey replacing Dr. David Moinina Sengeh as Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education.

Ibrahim Alpha Sesay is now Minister of Trade and Industry, replacing Ing Dr. Edward Hinga Sandy.

Julius Mattai is now Minister of Mine and Mineral Resources, replacing Timothy Musa Kabba who is now Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Manty Tarawalie has been moved from Minister of Gender and Children’s Affairs to Minister of State, Office of Vice President, replacing Peagie Alghali who is now Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Corporation.

Umaru Napoleon Koroma has been moved from Deputy Minister of Justice to Deputy Minister of Mines and Mineral Resources, replacing Ann Marie Baby Harding who is now Deputy Commissioner General at the National Revenue Authority (NRA).

President Bio made other changes at the National Revenue Authority, Sierra Leone Ports Authority and also the National Communications Authority formerly National Telecommunication Commission (NaTCom). All new appointments are subject to parliamentary approval.
