According to the acting SLFA boss, they are overwhelmed with joy because the presentation which is a complete show of their willingness and the readiness to get the country’s highest football tournament rolling again. 

“We at SLFA will do our best to assist the Premier League Board to move on well and ensure that our football league resume with a positive start. We will do our best to present other equipment and what we have now is balls which will help the clubs and the league.”

Chairman of Premier League Board, Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai said to get the ball playing again in the country is the only excitement they as football administrators are having in the game in the country.

He said the Board received a total of 140 balls which is part of the SLFA help to ensure that the league kicks-start.

 “What we will be doing is to give the registered clubs who meet the requirement laid by the Board and agreed by them. We want to organize a complete and successful football for the country.”

Abdulai said, as a Board, they are very excited to play the game, with agreed reforms to be undertaken, with all the clubs. He confirmed that the government of Sierra Leone has also agreed to support them, but they are yet to receive any cheque as rumored.
