On the sidelines of the WAFU-A General Assembly in Praia,Cape Verde President of the Sierra Leone Football Association, Mr. Babadi Kamara has held a fruitful engagement with FIFA Regional Coordinator, Silmara Sousa, who is attending as FIFA’s representative.
The WAFU A Congress is currently underway with the President Babadi Kamara and the Association’s Acting General Secretary, Mohamed Benson Bawoh, proudly representing Sierra Leone.
SLFA’s active presence at this Congress reaffirms Sierra Leone’s commitment to strengthening football governance, collaboration, and development within the sub-region and beyond.
The assembly brings together football leaders from across the sub-region to deliberate on key matters affecting the growth, governance, and future of football within WAFU-A. Sierra Leone’s presence at this high-level engagement reflects the Association’s continuous commitment to regional collaboration and active participation in the development of the game on the continent.
