Participants at the Roundtable included party members and well-wishers across the globe-USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Kenya, Australia and Continental Europe. The Bishop informed the meeting that following the Roundtable, he is thankful to the SLPP membership in North America, under the Leadership of Dr. Lawrence Sandi, Chairman, for a contribution of US $ 10,000 (Ten thousand dollars) (equivalent of Le 55,000,000 (Fifty-five Million Leones) in support of the FDC, and hope other Diaspora branches will emulate the commitment of the SLPPNA region to close the funding gap. The Bishop further stated that the main purpose of the 300 Delegates Family Dialogue Conference (FDC) is simply to validate and adopt a draft Transitional Roadmap (TRM) that will set the stage for achieving a permanent unity and reconciliatory solution in the SLPP.  He said, delegates will include, National Executive Officers, Ambassador Allie BANGURA and co-petitioners, Hon. Dr. Bernadette LAHAI, minority Leader in Parliament and other Members of Parliament, Senior Stakeholders such as the Vice President, former national executive officers of the party, and all interested or aspiring National Executive officers and Flag-bearer Candidates, representatives from Regional, districts, Constituency, Zonal, Students, Young Generation, Diaspora Executive members and party affiliated groups of the Sierra Leone Peoples Party.  He concluded that, Justice Tholla Thompson, Chairman of the Political Party Registration Commission (PPRC) will attend as Morale Guarantor.

In response, the Former Vice President Hon. Solomon E. Berewa, thanked Bishop Humper, the Technical Facilitation Team(TFT), and the Campaign for Unity Team (CUT)- the Across Movement- a student, youth, and grassroots movement associated with the SLPP, for the great progress so far achieved in the design and preparation for an Inclusive Family Dialogue Conference. He said “ I am not going to associate myself with any aspiring Flag-bearer, as I believe the urgent thing to do now is to pull our strengths together to unite and reconcile the party, where possible, even before the court verdict is pronounced”.  The Former Vice President in a telephone conversation, appealed to Chief Somano Kapen Chairman and Leader of the SLPP and other National Executive Officers to continue to cooperate and work in partnership with the Bishop and the proposed Joint Planning Team for the preparation and planning of the FDC.  He encouraged Chief Sumano Kapen to meet with Bishop Humper and team without much delay, to discuss modalities for working in partnership in organizing the FDC, as the only way out for the party.  “I am expecting the National Executive to take the PPRC’s Bishop Humper led TFT Mediation process as their baby…” H.E. Solomon E. Berewa concluded.
