As part of his inclusive strategy and astute leadership, Chief Minister of Sierra Leone, Jacob Jusu Saffa has disclosed plans of creating a digital platform for all Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) across Sierra Leone.

It is significant to note that in an era characterized by rapid modernisation, increased constituent expectations, shrinking budgets, and unpredictable outside disruptions, linking government through digital platform is the best way to reduce reliance on arcane paper-based processes; drains its scarce resources and limits its ability to fully serve the people.

Some of the reasons for this move by the Chief Minister to embrace digital transformation and go paperless by adopting a modern, cloud-based government management platforms include to improve convenience, promote transparency, saves employee time, automate tasks, data is accessible, unifying departments, improves Cyber Security and enables remote work & business continuity.
