I can’t stand here and pretend I don’t know because I am the Captain. If you remember few years ago, I did as a good pilot through due diligence knew that we were going to go through some turbulent and I told you to tighten your belts. What we are going through now is just momentary. I’m the captain and I want to assure you that we will land safely.”

This is just another clarion call by the first gentleman for Sierra Leoneans to exercise more patient and give his government some little more time to revamp the state’s economy.

It is by now no secret that the country’s economy is going through what some economists call difficult trying times, but the new direction government believe that for any soup to get its proper taste, it must be patiently cooked and in the process, the owner must have to exercise patient and bear the hungry as he awaits the completion of the soup.

It can be recalled that President Julius Maada Bio has on several occasions appealed humbly to countrymen and women to be patient and support his government to rebuild the country’s economy.
