Ibrahim Sorie Kamara, the 16 year old boy whose video was viral on social media having breast enlargement.
The Bilateral Subcutaneous Mastectomy surgery was done on the 6 June 2017, at the Holy Spirit hospital in Makeni on a pro bono basis, 5 surgeons from Ghana headed by Dr. Albert Painsil and assisted by our Sierra Leonean brother Dr. Abdul Jalloh with fund from Resurge Africa UK, resuscitated the life of the poor kid.
Prior to the surgery, Ibrahim was asked what surgery he desperately needed and he chose to eliminate his breast enlargement. Hopefully, another surgery will be done on Ibrahim to impotent his female organ, in the near future.
WAI-SL applauded the Salone/Germany Whatsapp group members, Mrs. Wurie of Ramsey laboratory, Dr. Taqui of the Holy Spirit hospital-Makeni, Dr. Boima and other doctors at the Connaught hospital, the medical team from Ghana and staff of the Holy Spirit hospital-Makeni for their tremendous effort to replenish Ibrahim.
