He explained that in Yeiwa chiefdom, they do Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS), hygiene promotion,   awareness raising, construction of toilet facilities in s community.

He noted that similar development is also ongoing in Dodo Small Bo chiefdom. He said with the help of WaterAid, MOPADA was able to construct wells, toilet and create awareness for best hygiene practices. He said in health centres also wells and other WASH facilities are been provided including hygiene kits.

In his brief introduction, the WASH Manager Augustine Tucker recalled that before the entered in the villages, a lot of people use to defecate in bush and their sources of water were from the nearby streams or river. Some he said get their water in sweeps which poses serious health hazard. He pointed out that their intervention in those areas has help to change the life of the people and thus reduce the water bourn related disease that can easily be prevented.

He pointed out that MOPADA is operating in 2nd One Mile Fallay Chiefdom, Limeh, Kortubu, Wulama, Joru Manialhun all in Niawa chiefdom. The also work in Boama Fallay Chifdom, Foima Sowa, Barbara Sowa Chifdom , Lorlla, Gorama Chiefdom and other communities. He said all this community can now boost of safe drinking, good hygiene practise and improve condition of environment.   

In his appreciation, Foidu Town Chief P a Brima Abdulai   explained in detailed how his township was and the present status in terms of WASH facilities.  He said based on that when MOPADA came to their community and introduces the concept of the project,   his leadership ensure that they accomplish the said project.  He paid special thanks to God for choosing WaterAid to support MOPADA.
