Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh, has described Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) Chairman Jimmy Songa as a humble, hardworking and loyal leader, stressing the importance of unity in advancing President Julius Maada Bio’s vision for the country.
In a social media post, Chief Minister Sengeh said he had come to believe that “we get the leadership we deserve,” while commending Chairman Songa for what he described as his unwavering loyalty to President Bio and the SLPP.
“Chairman Jimmy Songa is a humble, hardworking, and most importantly, loyal man,” Sengeh stated.
He said his engagements with Songa have consistently focused on finding ways to translate President Bio’s vision and development plans into tangible results for the people of Sierra Leone.
“Since I’ve known him, his loyalty is undivided to President Bio and the SLPP, and that’s a point we continue to converge on,” the Chief Minister said.
According to Sengeh, their discussions are centred on strengthening efforts within both the government and the governing party to deliver on the President’s agenda.
“Every day that we engage, we discuss how to deliver on the President’s vision and plan for the people of Sierra Leone through the government and the party,” he added.
