Women’s Rights Advocate, Dr. Sylvia Olayinka Blyden yesterday 26th January, 2023 donated One Hundred bags of high-quality cements to boost First Lady Dr. Fatima Maada Bio’s project at 34 Military Hospital, Wilberforce in Freetown.

Dr. Sylvia Olayinka Blyden said: “It is my humble donation to show Dr. Fatima Maada Bio how much I am proud of the work that she is doing up there. I did not inform her prior to the donation because I want her to be pleasantly surprised with the donation”.

Her Excellency Dr. Fatima Maada Bio turned the sod to start the construction of the 100-bed pediatric hospital at the 34 military hospital on Friday 18th December 2020.

The Hospital will be having a facelift with a 100-bed state of the art pediatric hospital, in fulfillment of the commitment made by the First Lady to give more women and children the access to quality medical care and to help achieve the structural goal of the country’s only Military hospital
