Bangura met with several personalities including the Prime Minister of Mali, Mr. Modibo Keita. She also spoke at a press conference to address concerns about conflict-related sexual violence; had a meeting with the Representative of UNFPA in Mali, Josiane Yaguibou and the sub working group on gender-based violence across the country.

 

Madam Bangura, who hails from Sierra Leone and has a civil society and human rights background, also met with the Malian Minister for Civil Protection and Security, Major-Colonel Salif Traore along with the DSRSG Mr. Koen Davidse and members of the Malian Association for Human Rights.
