After the nomination, Mr. Konte and his executive including Deputy Ministers of Political and Public Affairs and Transport and Aviation Femi Akhmed Mansaray and Mohamed S. Jalloh visited party supporters in four constituencies to not only present the Parliamentary and Council candidates but to also console the losers who did not get the party symbol and solicit their votes.

The people who were in jubilant mood lauded the APC government for bringing development to the district which includes the construction of the Kabala Township roads, provision of solar streets light, rehabilitation of the Kabala government hospital, resurfacing of the Makeni Kabala road, provision of communication to remote areas, ongoing work on the provision of pipe borne water, ongoing construction on the Makakura Yifin road among several others.

Addressing the people of Constituencies 044, 045 and 046 respectively, APC District Chairman, Momoh Konte disclosed that the government has approved the construction of three hospitals in Alikalia, Falaba and Krubola to address the health needs of the people.  Konte said work on the Makakura Yifin road will start next week.

“During the award of symbol not everybody got what they wanted. Sometimes as a party, we have made mistakes in the process. I want to apologize to everybody on behalf of the APC to put the past behind us and work as a team to ensure victory in the forthcoming elections. Join the APC campaign team to ensure 95% victory as we want to finish all the development projects we have started and that could only happen when you re-elect the party in March,” Mr. Konte told the cheering crowd.

He promised the people of Alikalia that he will provide solar street light for them after March, if they vote overwhelmingly for the APC.

He called on the people not to allow fake promises from politicians, stressing that, it is only the APC that will develop and improve their communities. He called for the prevalence of peace and security in their various communities stressing that the APC want a peaceful election. He disclosed that arrangement is far advance with a construction company to start the construction of the road from Kayakoh to Konkoba to enable the people take their produce and sick people to Kabala.

He urged them to be proud of the good record the party has made stressing that no party can match the positive record the APC has made over the years.

He emphasized that the APC government loves the Limba people contrary to what their detractors are claiming. Of the nineteen Councilors the party has nominated, he said, they awarded symbol to ten Limba candidates including the Council Chairman. He assured the people of their security and safety under the APC at all times.

Speaker after speaker commended the Koroma administration for the development projects they have implemented in the district.

Paramount Chief Alimamy Lahai Mansaray V of Sainkunia Dembelia Chiefdom, PC Alimamy Umaru Jalloh of Nieni Chiefdom, PC Alhaji Kamara of Folosaba Kamba Chiefdom among others commended Mr. Konte and government for coming to their aid.

Chief Jalloh said initially they were spending over fifty thousand leones to communicate with their families or loved ones which he noted is now a thing of the past under this administration.

Chief Jalloh noted that since Mr. Konte took over NATCOM, additional poles have been erected nationwide thereby increasing the coverage. He said “This APC government has done a lot for us and we will pay them in March.” He spoke of Mr. Konte’s contribution to the health, education and agriculture sectors in the district. He said even though they are not politicians they will follow Momoh Konte anywhere he takes them.

Speaker after speaker emphasized that Mr. Konte is their interest and vowed to move with him to the right path.
