The PLB, in a release said it is pleased to inform the general public that at the end of the first round the following figures showed cumulative proceeds for all 78 matches played by 13 teams across the country.

Tickets sold – Le2,568,300,00

Expenditures – Le316,171,200

Net sales – Le2,252,128,800

Clubs 80% – Le1,801,715,040

SLFA 10% – Le226,629,800

District FA’s 5% – Le113,314,890

PLB 5% – Le113,314,890

The PLB’s PRO told AYV Sports that they are happy for the update, adding that out of the total number of tickets sold for the match between FC Kallon and East End Lions, which had the highest ticket sales, followed by Mighty Blackpool and East End Lions.

However, in a telephone chat yesterday 24th April, 2019, Chairman of Sierra Leone Premier League Board, Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai Esq. wanted to know where AYV got its figures on the amount of money accrued by the PLB this season. He agreed that the said report on the amounts of money accrued was coming from the PLB Financial Unit, adding that he is au fait with the report but that he is yet to be informed. He added that he is also aware about the PRO and Financial unit of the PLB.
