She has received award of excellence as national children and woman ambassador; mother of the year and head of the parastatal of the year.

These prestigious awards are in recognition of the role of Madam Kallah Kamara in promoting issues of women and children, added to her untiring efforts in raising revenue for the state.

The lady head has no doubt provided exemplary leadership over the years at the NRA in terms of administration, creating fiscal space for government to undertake development projects.

To her, these awards did not come as a surprise and will serve to inspire her the more in future endeavors.

She is on record to have provided buses for students of FBC and Njala and has adopted Gbomsamba village in the Buya Romende Chiefdom.

Among her accomplishments is the launching of a girls empowerment center at Sahr Malen Chiefdom, Pujehun District; plus her commitment to give scholarships to the girl child in that part of the country.

These awards came at a time when the NRA was sealing off premises of tax defaulters in a bid to raise much needed revenue for the NRA.
