Past weekend, the Mission met with the Chairs of the political parties in Parliament and members of the Diplomatic and Consular Corp.

They also met with the APC leadership and former President of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma, Ambassador Alhaji Osman Yansaneh – APC Secretary General and Hon. Chenor Bah, APC Opposition Leader in Parliament.

After meeting with the main opposition party, the delegation also met with the SLPP ruling party executive including – Dr. Prince Alex Harding, Napoleon Koroma, Sidi Tunis among others.

With the C4C opposition party, they also held consultations with Chief Sam Sumana, Tamba Sandi and Sahr Emerson Lamina before finally holding talks with Hon. Dr. Kandeh Yumkela and Denis Bright of the NGC opposition party

They met briefly with key civil society organizations including CGG, IGR, CARL, SEA, WANEP, Fambul Tok, Human Rights Defenders, Inter Religious Council and Women’s Network.
