“The Commission has received the documents but we are looking at it,” the PPRC Chairman acknowledged.

Should the PPRC accept and endorse the submission, this will be the very first coalition of political parties in Sierra Leone as the existing coalitions already registered are coalitions of politicians from various existing political parties in the country.

Reports say in the document submitted to the PPRC, all four political parties said the reasons for which especially the RUFP and the PLP went to war are visible as there are tribalism, regionalism, human rights violations, underdevelopment and blatant corruption in the country which they blamed on the two old political parties, All People’s Congress (APC) and Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP).

The four political parties encouraged other political parties to join them in the coalition and look for a credible Sierra Leonean to be presidential candidate for the 2018 elections.
