He also noted his admiration for the social development trajectory of Sierra Leone under the APC ad the leadership of President Ernest Bai Koroma, pointing out that because the President is focused on moving the country ahead, he as an avowed party member should support the development and progress of the party at the district levels.

This is not the first time Saidu Jabbie has intervened in situations of need in the country. During the Ebola outbreak, he stood firmly by the Koinadugu District Ebola Task Force supporting quarantine homes with food and supporting ebola survivors in the post ebola era. Jabs also spent an estimated USD 5, 000 on used clothing for persons in quarantine homes and members of the Ebola Task Force providing security at checkpoints in almost all the chiefdoms in the district. As a devout Muslim, for the past five years, Saidu Jabbie has been donating 50 bags of rice each year to mosques within Kabala town to help Muslims with their Iftar.

Saidu Jabbie is the Chief Executive Officer of Jabs Group of companies in the United States of America and Sierra Leone, holds an MBA and hails from Kono District where he attended primary and secondary schools.

Receiving the receipts on behalf of the APC, Vice President Victor Bockarie Foh thanked Mr. Jabbie for his “wise thought” to contribute towards the development and progress of the APC, noting that people of his nature should be recognized and appreciated by the party. The VP said Mr. Jabbie is marking his entrance into the APC in a remarkable way, which he noted should be acknowledged by the party at all levels.

VP Foh urged admirers and supporters of the APC to copy the example of Mr. Jabbie who he noted, has not received any favour from the party but has decided to directly invest in its development and progress by donating 300 bags of cement towards the construction of its offices in Port Loko, Kabala and Makeni.

He described Mr. Jabbie as “enterprising” and “determined” to promote the APC not only in his native Koinadugu District, but the entire Sierra Leone. “I thank you on behalf of the President for the donation and the initiative to think about supporting the development and progress of the party around the country,” VP Foh noted, pointing out that most favoured members of the party are yet to think about making any such move that will enhance the capacity and popularity of the party in their various localities.

He called on admirers and supporters of the APC at home and in the Diaspora, to come and invest in the APC’s growth and the socio-economic development of the country. He said President Ernest Bai Koroma is providing the “right leadership” and ensuring the enabling environment that will allow citizens and friends of the country to invest in the country’s diverse pristine and unadulterated investment opportunities.
