He went on to say that when the thunder and lightning was about to strike, the rain ceased for a moment and before the children that were eventful playing and picking ice blocks falling from the sky could realize the status of the climate, the thunder struck and killed the three children at a once.

In an interview with the grandmother of the deceased who happened to be the only caretaker of the children’s, Adama Swarray informed AYV that her only hope on earth was those children and that she had no more reason to live on this planet; owing to the fact that her hope was suddenly taken from her.

However, residents of Ngombu community had attributed the death of the children to something being unusual and therefore called on the police and the local authorities to thoroughly investigate the matter and immediately establish their findings to the general public.

The police and local authorities assured people’s of that part of the country that investigations are currently going on and they will duly inform them as the matter will be unfolding.

The deceased had been laid to rest while Bakarr Kamara 25, the only survivor of the thunder attacked and an elder brother to the deceased, currently responding to treatment at the RTI Military hospital, in Kenema.

A resident of the Ngombu village, Momoh Saidu stated that the thunder incident happened to be strange one. He further explained that they are perplexed as a community as a result of the fact that no history had ever traced the occurrence of such saga in their community.

“We are very much surprised to see such a thing happening in our community, this situation is truly extraordinary.” He added.
