He said his government had reduced a lump sum on the reviewing process from twenty-eight (28) million dollars to twenty-one (21) million dollars which he said can help this government to save a lot on some of the leakages, especially on the infrastructural sector.
Hon. Tondoneh stated further that through the infrastructural initiative, Sierra Leone will not be a country where contractors will not just step in, make free money and go, leaving government with all the loses.
He said there was no proper system in place and government is in the process to reform and regain all assets and properties that have been misuse and abuse for so long.
Hon. Tondoneh appealed to all stakeholders that when executing some of these functions they must be so helpful in seeing that most of these properties are retrieved.
