The remaining convicts were charged to court for the offences of malicious damaged and disorderly manner during devil masquerade on Easter Monday 17 April 2017, at Savage Square Kissy road in the western area in the republic of Sierra Leone, contrary to Section  (12a) of the public order act N0.46 of 1965, of the laws of Sierra Leone.

Before slamming judgment on the convict, the presiding Magistrate, Dr. Abubakar Binneh Kamara stated that the spate at which clique gangs were on the increase and further unleashing danger on innocent and peaceful citizens should nipped in the bud.

He vowed to use the powers vested in him to arrest the awful trend of cliques’ gangs, which had led to the numerous lost of lives, valuable properties and continue to undermine the peace and stability of the state.

According to the court records, some of the convicts were able   to pay the fine levied by the court, whiles the others were whisked to the Male Correctional Centre, on Pademba road in the west end of the country’s capital Freetown.

The seventeen convicts were; Amara Tejan Kabbia, Victor Reginald Cole, Mohamed Momoh, Abass Bangura, Mohamed Kamara, Sulaiman Barrie, Musa Jimmy, Ibrahim Bangura, Ibrahim Vandi, Alhaji Lansana, Omaru Jalloh, Musa Kamara, Saidu Kargbo, Moses Johnson, Ibrahim Sesay, Abdul Raham Sesay and Emmanuel Finnie.
