 Best Law Student delivers speech in Boston

According to him, he was awarded this opportunity after his speech was voted as the best among those presented by graduating students of the said law school.
Delivering the speech at the ceremony, Emmanuel said the experience of the war which finally ended in 2002 though it changed his life forever, did not kill his dreams; “rather, it transformed them into the desire to give voice to the voiceless, to fight for women’s rights, children’s rights and the empowerment of young people, the desire to learn more about the root causes of conflicts and more about viable strategies for building a peaceful and just society”.
As he narrates the rigours he went through together with his family during that period, the young legend said that fighting for social justice will always be part of his journey. “I want to create change in the lives of voiceless women, of war-ravaged children, and marginalized young people on every continent, whose social, economic and political exclusion I have now come to believe as one of the major reasons for conflict in the world”.
Concluding his speech, he told his fellow graduates that the world awaits them! “We can now use the skills and knowledge we have obtained from the privilege of studying at North Eastern with a sense of pride, motivation and determination,” he urged.
