Dr Patrick Coker commended the Swimming Association for its achievement and expressed his happiness that they were able to achieve laurels in Dakar.
He promised that the NOC with the Open Door Policy will support all associations to promote and develop their athletes and advised the Swimming association to concentrate on developing the talents of their athletes.
Swimming President, Rev. George Spilsbury-Williams thanked the NOC for their financial support of 3000US$ which enabled the team to travel by road to Senegal to compete and achieve their first international laurels.
He promised that the Swimming Association will always support the NOC in their bid to promote sports in Sierra Leone.
The presentation ceremony ended with a symbolic presentation of all the Bronze medals and certificates to the members of the Swimming Delegation, by the NOC president Dr Patrick Coker.
