Mr. Bindi assured general public of government’s unflinching support to the programme and thanked them for answering to the clarion call of President Julius Maada Bio. Mr. Bindi who also engaged some key State Functionaries including a very Senior Military and Police Officers, Minister of Government and Heads of Institutions with a view to ascertaining the level of compliance among communities, said the initiative has reduced the rate of disease outbreak in the country considerably. “There is no major disease outbreak since H.E. the President re-introduced the cleaning exercise” in the country”, he boasted.

He noted that there is a youth component in the programme which caters for those interested and thanked them for their willingness to participate.

The National Co-ordinator underscored the fact that there are challenges facing the programme but assured that government and partners will leave no stone unturned in surmounting them. He however called on players in the Private Sector, Philanthropists and well-meaning Sierra Leoneans to support Development Proposals in the Government’s New Direction Agenda to promote sustainable development in the country. Ward Coordinators and Youths involved in the cleaning exercise thanked government for the initiative and pledged their continued cooperation.
