A bitter ugly incident broke when the police responded to the pupil’s riotous and disorderly conduct.
The violent character and actions of these pupils led to a stanstill within the school’s environs as they barricaded the streets and were throwing stones and other implements on their school’s buildings, the police and passers-by.

This led to some police officers sustaining injuries and are undergoing medical treatment. There were further damages to vehicles’ windshields, lights and windows.

The Police were, however, able to quell down the violent situation by applying proportionate force. Twenty-five pupils were arrested and they are now being screened by the Police to determine their culpability. Police Media confirmed to AYV newspaper last evening.
