Abdul S. Murray-Conteh will be sworn in replacing Osman Timbo as Constituency 130 MP, Abdul M. Lansana will be sworn in replacing Ahmed Mansaray as Constituency 121 MP, Alieu I. Kamara will be sworn in replacing Mohamed S. Karim-Carew as Constituency 122 MP, Benjamin Turay will be sworn in replacing Abu Bakarr F. Sillah as Constituency 128 MP and John Telso Koroma will be sworn in replacing Sirajin M.R. Kamara as MP for Constituency 127 MP among other Members of Parliament.

 

After today’s swearing in ceremony of new MPs, SLPP will now have 58 Seats (Majority), APC 57 Seats (Minority), NGC 4 Seats, C4C 8 Seats and PCMPs 14 Seats respectively.

 

According to Section 78 (2), it stated that the High Court shall determine the said question (of petitioned cases) and give judgement thereon within four (4) months after the commencement of the proceedings before the court.
