With L.M Marrah Esq. of Counsel for the Defendant/Respondent herein failing to file an Affidavit in opposition to the Application thereof; despite notices served on him in order for him to be heard in relation to this Application with the relevant Affidavit of service filed to that effect.

The Judge ordered as follows:

1.      That an interlocutory injunction is hereby granted restraining the Defendants whether by themselves, their servants or by whosoever from entering, rehabilitating or erecting permanent or temporal structures therein; selling, conveying the whole or any part thereof on the land which is the subject matter of this action that is delineated on Survey Plan No: RS1197/10 which is lying and being at Pa Loko Road – Jorpoh Farm, in Waterloo, the Koya Rural District and which is attached to a Deed dated the 1st day of November 2018 and registered in Vol:777 at Page 36 in the Record Book of Conveyance kept in the Office of the Administrator and Registrar General

2.      That an interim injunction is hereby granted restraining the Director of Surveys and Lands, his servant (s), agents or subordinates to put on hold and refrain from signing any survey plan purporting to transfer title of the land or any part thereof which is the subject of the matter in this action to any person or group of persons as owners

3.      That a sign be erected on the land which is the subject of the matter of this action, warning innocent persons to refrain from buying, receiving as gift, mortgage, lease any or part of the land which is the subject of the matter of this action until the hearing and final determination of this action in the High Court of Sierra Leone

The Ruling was signed by the Hon. Justice J.B. Allieu and dated 2nd July, 2019
