The drug Baron, Abdul Kamara is said to have been in the illegal dealings and sales of various types of drugs for a long time now, selling these drugs to hard-core criminals, clique gangs and other individuals in community.

Clique gang activities are the order of the day in some communities in the Freetown East Region for which the Regional Commander and team have made several efforts to eliminate. These clique gangs are known to be taken (consuming) these drugs before going out to perpetuate mayhem on their potential innocent victims. Most criminal activities perpetuated against innocent people and reported to the Police are drugs related!

For this reasons, the Police have vowed to be desirous in fighting drugs and its related consequences in our society.

The AIG Freetown East has received lots of anonymous calls from people of some of the affected communities expressing their appreciations and thanks for the arrest of this drug Baron and eight (8) others who were in the early hours of Sunday   apprehended by Kissy Division.
