Ambassador Navo Motivates E.E Lions with $5,000

The Chairman of East End Lions FC, Ambassador Anthony Navo Jr. yesterday visited the Club’s training ground for the very first time since the ban on all sporting activities was lifted in the country.

The Chairman gave the sum of Five Thousand U.S dollars ($5,000) to the team as sign of motivation.

His Executive also promised the team Three Hundred Million leones for a win in the 2021 Premier League.

The Ambassador assured the team that the match winning bonus has been increased from Le30 million to Le40 million per match for this League season.

Ambassador Navo Jr. stated that ahead of the 2020/21 Sierra Leone Premier League Season, commencing on Friday 23rd April 2021, East End Lions FC has added six new players to the previous league squad.

The Club will unveil the new players namely; Abdulai C. Turay from Obreh Academy, Alison Kamara and IshmailDumbuya from Zizo FC, Mohamed G. Kamara who rejoined the Club from Bo Rangers, Ifeanyi Francis from Eyimba FC Nigeria and Oduom Toby from Kano Pillars Nigeria, tomorrow Thursday at the AYV Media Empire Headquarters, Tower Hill, Freetown.

He further urged the Technical Department and the Players to do all they could to retain the league title, and for the opening match against Bo Rangers the executive will provide five (5) buses for supporters who may want to make the trip to Bo city.

In his response East End Lions FC Skipper, YeamiDunia said in football they do not promise, but however they will put on remarkable performance for the club to emerge as champions, more also when they want to represent East End Lions FC and Sierra Leone at the CAF Champions League.

East End Lions FC will kick start the 2020/21 Sierra Leone Premier League season campaign against Bo Rangers in Bo city on Saturday April 24th, 2021.

Bo Rangers FC do not secured any point in their last three Sierra Leone Premier League meeting with East End Lions FC.

East End Lions scored five goals in the last three meetings with Bo Rangers and conceded only one a   1-0 win during the first leg meeting in 2018/19 season, a 3-1 victory during the second leg and another 1-0 victory during their meeting in the 2019/20 cancelled season.
