Defending champions of the Sierra Leone Premiere League East End Lions Football Club unveiled 8 new players and brand new well-designed jersey

Chairman of East End Lions Football Club, Ambassador Anthony Navo Junior said the suspension of the last Sierra Leone Premiere League prevented the defending champions from winning the league back to back. He expressed happiness that the league is back and about to start again. (Xanax)

He continued that the Club through the executive and sponsors has raised billions of leones in the last three weeks, adding that it want to add value to players in the country.

According to the ambassador, with East End Lions being the pacesetters by changing the narratives with regards buying players hundreds of millions of leones, the club has spent hundreds of millions of leones to bring in eight new players into the already existing team to move the club forward.

The Chairman further informed the public that from 2019 to date the Club has only lost three players which includes the twins Alusine and Alhassan Koroma who now plays professional football in Spain, and recent deal with Bo Rangers Football Club for Musa Noah Kamara popularly known as Musa Tombo.

In conclusion, Navo welcomed the new players and reminded the fans that the team will leave for Bo today Friday ahead of its opening encounter with Bo Rangers Football Club tomorrow Saturday.

He informed buses will be available for fans wanting to travel with the team, while encouraging everyone to abstain from violence as they make their way to Bo city and to also observe all COVID-19 protocols. He officially unveiled the teams 2020/2021 Jersey.

Chairman of the Elders’ Council, Alhaji Mohamed Nabieu whiles officially unveiling the players gave a brief background on East End Lions Football Club. He thanked the entire East End Lions family for a job well done by keeping the high standards of the Club years after its formation.

He also encouraged the player to have a relaxed and focused mind so in return they will give the team the result it wanted.

Chief Executive Officer of Gento Group of Companies, Ahmed Gento Kamara, doubling as member of the East End Lions Executive Council said the Club operates like corporate body. He said this year, the Executive Body is working on is to have an East End Lions Football Academy within the next two years.

He urged the fans and Team to see all other clubs as friends.

East End Lions Legend, Abubakarr Kanu popularly known as Gbanaloko was welcomed by the Board of East End Lions Football Club as the third coach.

He told the Team he is a true Lions breed and he supports the Team with everything and promised the fans that the match against Bo Rangers on Saturday will surely be a success for Lions.
